First Annual Halloween Parade & Festival – Wappinger Falls This Saturday!

No one..Let me rephrase that.. “NO ONE” LOVES Halloween more then my friend Donna Davies!

It all kicks off at Elm Street. Line up is at 9:30am, Festival Setup at 10:am and The Parade Starts at 11am and the end route is Meiser Park. This is not just a parade…it’s a festival and an EVENT that goes through 5PM!

Donna Parish Bischoff and Donna Davis

This is the FIRST Annual Halloween Parade and Festival! So Come Dressed in Your SPOOKIEST Best!

Get in the Community Spirit and Support a FREE Event that SCREAMS #HALLOWEEN

Costume, Float, Which Hat and Pumpkin Carving contests, story telling, Inflatable corn maze, vendors for food & crafts and more. For details of the event click on Donna’s Hudson Valley Halloween Magazine Link Here.

Donna says “This Halloween parade and festival is going to be epic for the Village of Wappingers. I grew up in Wappingers, so this is like coming home for me.
We scouted out other communities and they weren’t interested in having a parade. Denise Calabrese of the Recreation Dept saw the value of such an event in her community.  Both Donna Parish-Bischoff and I rallied our friends and haunt enthusiasts together. I met all these people through my Haunted Hudson Valley Facebook page. It took the efforts of this Halloween team to organize this event. It was easier than gobbling up a bag of candy corn!. The interest is phenomenal.  We are all very proud of the work we have done for the community.”

Donna Davies is the QUEEN of HALLOWEEN in the HUDSON VALLEY and beyond! She is the author of several children’s books and founder and creator of THE Hudson Valley Halloween Magazine. Her books include “The Halloween Queen Who Lost Her Scream”, “Sleepy Hollow and the Road You’d Better Not Follow”, “Night of the Candy Creepers”, “Bye, Bye Boogeyman”,  “Halloween Night in the Mad Monster Museum”.
